Stella & Company Events owner, Meredith Akers McCullough is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Management. Following graduation, she moved back to her hometown of Brandon, and decided to begin the journey of Stella & Company. After a college summer internship with a well known wedding planner, that turned into a part time job, Meredith knew weddings were going to be her niche! To gain more event experience, she volunteered as the Delta Gamma social chair, and worked on numerous charity events. Continuing to work events part time and attending wedding professional conferences, Meredith was well trained and ready to start helping clients produce one of a kind Stellabrations. In 2011, Stella & Company opened as an event planning company and retail store. Meredith has grown Stella & Company tremendously since 2011 and recently made the decision to close the retail store at the end of October 2016, in pursuit of the event planning as a full time job for her and her team. Since 2011, Meredith and her team have produced over 200 Stellabrations.

Meet Tarah
As an Associate Planner and Lead Graphic Designer at
Stella & Company Events, Tarah Butler keeps numerous projects on track. Originally from the Washington D.C. area, Tarah landed on our team a few years after marrying her college sweetheart and moving back to his hometown. She has a two year old son and a baby girl arriving December 2017! Tarah has a Bachelors of Art
in Graphic Design and Art from The University of Mississippi.
For several years prior to joining the Stella & Co Events team,
Tarah has created custom logos, monograms, invitation suites,
thank you cards, and various pieces of custom stationary for clients. Designing special wedding details are her favorite part of the planning process, as that is where she sees the project come together.
