Morgan + Kyle Harris

Happy FIRST ANNIVERSARY to Morgan and Kyle Harris! We can hardly believe it's been a year since your gorgeous Stellabration! We first met Morgan's sweet family while planning her sister-in-law and brother's wedding that we helped coordinate a few years before. We have since become friends with the Henley family and recommend the Mother of the Bride's (Rebecca Henley) monogramming business, Signature Accents, for all of your monogramming needs! {Morgan of course had plenty of pretty monograms for and her girls in every aspect of the wedding day!} We were delighted that they chose us to coordinate this special occasion for their first daughter to get married!

Morgan is an Ole Miss alumnus and Kyle is a huge Alabama fan, however, they met while in Auburn, enrolled in graduate programs! Prior to the wedding, they both found jobs in the Jackson area. Because they were both living here and Morgan is from the area, they decided a Jackson wedding was best! The ceremony was held in Morgan's life long home church of St. Luke's Methodist in Fondren. Her precious grandfather helped officiate the sincerely sweet ceremony. We LOVED the colorful flower wreaths with a hand tied and monogrammed dupioni silk ribbon designed by the Mother of the Bride that adorned them, and truly loved the color tones of this spring wedding! The bride wore a beautiful gown from The Bridal Path and the bridesmaids complimented her perfectly in deep purple chiffon dresses. The colors of their bouquets popped against the dark purple! The groomsmen wore classic gray and black tuxedo's to perfectly compliment the purple, gray, and silver tones of the wedding. Following the ceremony, the couple had guests line either side of the crosswalk outside the church and ran through a tunnel of pom poms. Of course, the pom poms were red and blue or crimson and white to show the love for their undergraduate schools and "teams!" The couple then led the way down the sidewalk to Duling Hall where the Bride's family hosted a spectacular reception.

Smiley and The Young Guns entertained the dancing crowd late into the night. Fresh Cut Catering & Floral provided the lush and colorful arrangements at the ceremony and reception. They also catered the delectable "Southern" menu that was served along with the silver toned glitz linens to jazz up the historical venue. Cakes by Iris was the artist behind the beautiful cakes. Great Southern Events provided the clear top tents and furniture in the outdoor spaces of Duling Hall. Favors were Mississippi and Alabama sugar cookies with a heart over their hometowns, made by Mary Margaret Boudreaux. The talented Carley Haynes provided make up for the bridal party. Laura White and Pam Eastman did hair for the bride and wedding party. Hal & Mal's provided the bar services. We of course helped with the planning and coordinated the reception, as well as provided the design work for the custom ceremony programs!
