Bethany & Matt: Happy ONE YEAR

This time last year, we were dancing in the rain with Bethany & Matt and there is no other couple I would want to do that for! They were so gracious about the fact that it was raining cats and dogs and that there was absolutely nothing anyone could do about it! Being the good sports they are, they grabbed the umbrellas and Lindsay Vallas Photography captured the day perfectly at The Cedars! We had planned for the ceremony to be off the back porch which we ended up tenting, but it turned out to be just as beautiful as the original plan! For the reception, the food and cakes were inside, guests gathered inside, on vintage seating on the front porch, or under the tent with our family style seating and benches in the front yard! At the end of the night, the rain slacked off enough we were able to light the sparklers for their leave, but with the light drizzle Lindsey was able to get some of the most iconic photos of them in front of the get-a-way car! If you are going to have rain ALL day on your wedding day, I hope you have a photographer as good as Lindsay to capture a photo like this:

We were also honored to plan and coordinate with Fresh Cut Catering one of my most favorite rehearsal dinners of all time! I loved the large square under the tent that made their dinner have a large "Family Style" feel! The food was set up and served from the front porch of The Cedars! It was an "Upscale BBQ!" So southern and the perfect setting at The Cedars!
