Shannon + Zach Evans

We are wishing for cooler weather as we recap this gorgeous fall wedding! We are excited to celebrate this sweet couple's first anniversary! Shannon and Zach tied the knot at First Baptist Church Jackson with a beautiful ceremony directed by FBCJ coordinator, Terri Pigford, as well as Judy Tharpe and Diana Egger.

Shannon and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready and enjoying some laughs in the Bridal Suite at First Baptist Jackson. Hair was done by Joanie Thompson of Joanie’s Salon and makeup was by Ashley Richardson. The bride walked down the aisle in a stunning a-line dress with a beaded bodice and sweetheart neckline from Imaginations Bridal, complete with aqua Converse as her "something blue". She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, roses, and white and plum calla lilies while her bridesmaids carried coordinating bouquets of hydrangeas, lavender roses, and mini calla lilies from Fresh Cut that complimented their high-neckline plum dresses, also from Imaginations Bridal. The groom and groomsmen wore black tuxes with plum vests from Men's Warehouse in Flowood with the perfect plum and grey argyle socks to match! The sanctuary of the church was adorned with a floral arch and two arrangements that coordinated with the other florals by Fresh Cut and candles which created a dramatic, yet romantic feel.

After the ceremony, guests headed down the street to The South Warehouse where they walked into a room full of beautiful arrangements and mood lighting. There were hanging mercury glass orbs, greenery, and orchids over the dance floor that created the perfect background for a surprise painting by Wyatt Waters of the newlyweds first dance. The couple and guests danced the night away with music by Hunter Gibson and the Gators and enjoyed a delicious meal, from a charcuterie board to southern brisket sandwiches by Fresh Cut.

Enjoy some of our favorite pictures taken by Robby with Followell Fotography. We wish Shannon and Zach another year of sweet memories and are thankful we were able to Stellabrate with them!
